So it is officially official that yours truly is moving to London on August 28th. I will be returning on December 19th, and anticipate what should be a killer welcome back/21st birthday party for me on the 23rd. Finding the funds make this thing happen has been a constant stress on me for the past few weeks. I'm working as much as i can, and thank god I'm pretty much done with hosting, but 17,000 bucks is still not easy to come by. I've pretty much resolved to being in huge debt for the next few years, but it'll totally be worth it. I still need to buy a digital camera for the trip. My current camera, which was bought for me as a gift for my 14th birthday, is all of 2 megapixels and takes 8aa batteries. It weighs like four pounds. But it was SO cool when I first got it. I have a can in my room that I throw money in to after my shifts, so that is whats gonna get me a sony cybershot. But what I REALLY want for my trip abroad is one of these:
Our dorm has wireless internet. I think it is almost an essential to keep in touch with the yanks back home, store the bajillion pictures I'll be taking, and maybe do some school work on. And really, whats another grand when I'm already 17 in the hole? Donations, however, are being accepted.
